Stockton Sewage Ponds
Location/Directions (You must register at the office
first)
From I5, take Hwy 4 (Charter Blvd.) west 1.1 miles
(past the light at Fresno St) and turn right at the Rough and Ready
Island/Port of Stockton sign, which is Tillie Lewis Dr. At the end of
Tillie Lewis Dr., turn left on to Navy Dr. and go 0.5 miles to the
entrance of the City of Stockton Regional Waste Water Control Facility
(left side). Park in the 1st parking lot and go inside and register.
They will phone over to the ponds to arrange for someone to meet you
there. Return to Hwy 4.
Turn right on Hwy. 4 and drive 1.2 miles to John
Turk Dr. This is the entrance to the ponds. Drive up to the gate and
wait for someone to left you in. They are open Monday - Friday.

Habitats
This area includes the typical sewage pond habitat with lots of open
water and some shoreline for sandpipers.
Birds
Waterfowl, shorebirds and gulls. Little Gull used to be a regular here.
