Location/Directions
From Interstate 5 take the Hwy 12 exit east and then immediately south on Thornton Rd. Turn right (west) 1.3 miles south of Hwy 12. and go under the highway. Continue on the I5 Frontage Rd. to the end.

Habitats
This area includes open water with wetland edges. There is a nice riparian area known as Cottonwood alley between 2 of the ponds.

Birds
Wintering sparrows, wrens, waterfowl and rails (including Black Rail).
