San Luis NWR
Location/Directions
From Hwy 99 in Turlock, take Hwy 165 (Lander Ave.) south through
Hilmar and Stevinson, past the Hwy 140 stop sign to Wolfsen Rd. Follow
Wolfsen rd back to the entrance to the refuge.
From Hwy 99 in Merced, take Hwy 140 west to the Hwy 165 junction and turn
left (south). Continue on Hwy 165 to Wolfsen Rd. Wolfsen rd back to the
entrance to the refuge.
From I5 in Santa Nella, take Hwy 33 south to Henry Miller Rd. through
Volta to Hwy 165. Take Hwy 165 north to Wolfsen Rd. Take Wolfsen Rd. back
to the entrance to the refuge.
From Los Banos, take Hwy 165 north to Wolfsen Rd. Take Wolfsen Rd. back to
the entrance to the refuge.
The refuge is open year-round starting 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2
after sunset.
