Directions/Location
From Santa Nella/I5 take Hwy 33 exit from I5
south. Turn left (east) from Hwy 33 onto Henry
Miller Rd. The pond will be visible on your right,
just before arriving in the hamlet of Volta.
Habitat
Shallow open water with surrounding reeds and
cattails. A series of small islands provide
roosting areas for birds.
Birds
Typical marsh and wetland birds such as waterfowl,
cormorants, pelicans and terns.
