Location/Directions
From Stockton, take Hwy 4 east, go 4.25 miles past Escalon Bellota Rd. to Waverly Road and turn left (north).

From Modesto head north on McHenry Rd., through Escalon and bear right onto Escalon Bellota Rd. At Hwy 4 in Farmington, turn right (east) on Hwy 4. Continue 4.25 miles on Hwy 4 to Waverly rd. and turn left (north).

A side route west on Flood Rd. goes through similar habitat.

Habitats
Open grassland and rangelands.

Birds
Wintering raptors, Short-eared Owls, sparrows and gulls near the dump.
