Directions/Location
These ponds have recently allowed birders access. Please make sure to check in and out of the facility. Enter the facility at the intersection of Walnut and Poplar where the row of junipers is. Follow the road straight back to the building with the blue door. They got upset about some birders that had just wandered around the complex without checking in.

From Hwy 33 take E. Las Palmas Ave east to Poplar Ave and turn left (north). The ponds will be on your right. 

From Hwy 99 take the West Main exit in Turlock and head west to the San Joaquin River. After crossing the river look for Poplar on your right.

From the Modesto Sewage Ponds, get back on Jennings Rd. and go south to where it ends at West Main St. and turn right. This becomes E. Las Palmas a little after crossing the San Joaquin River. After crossing the river look for Poplar on your right.
